2nd Hellenic Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation

Five Days, 9 Workshops, The Ultimate Location of Science

The 2nd Hellenic Forum aims at strengthening interactions and exploring new paths for close collaboration between research centers and industries, in order to enhance the competitiveness and productivity of the country. The purpose of this interaction is to define the steps to be taken in order to enhance Greek-based innovation in an international business environment.

Within this framework, the 2nd Hellenic Forum aspires to build bridges between the research community in Greece and distinguished scientists of Diaspora as well as professionals in the industrial sector, for developing scientific and technology transfer collaborations for innovation.

The invited speakers and the participants will also have the opportunity to visit the newly inaugurated Innovation Exhibition hosted at the NCSR “Demokritos”, which presents current state-of-the-art Greek innovation technologies.

Mentor's Mix Bootcamp

Mentor's Mix is a two day (June 13-14), mini-bootcamp, aimed at those working or involved in guiding novice groups or businesses. The Innovation Farm group offers experiences through the interaction with neophyte groups and the Stage One Accelerator and shares with you the knowledge gained from what happened, right or wrong, in the implemented programs. The program starts with experiential seminars on the contemporary logic of Lean Startup and new business and investment trends and concludes with an intensive workshop that places mentors and tutors (coaches) in the steps of startups that usually coach, working together as a neophyte groups .

Venue: City College, 3, Leontos Sofou Street.
Participation fee is 25 euros / person .

Research and Innovation in the Service of Economy and Society, European Neighbourhood and the Black Sea Region

The overall objective of the RInES Conference is to highlight the important role of the International Cooperation / INCO for the EU by reinforcing the collaboration with the European Neighbourhood / ENP and Black Sea region countries within the framework of the research and innovation, exploiting its potential as an integral part of a comprehensive package of external action. The ENP and Black Sea region countries involved are Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Palestine Authority, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Belarus, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, and the associated countries: Israel and Turkey.

The conference addresses the following target groups:

Fostering an Inclusive Economic Recovery in Greece: Promoting SME Innovation and Combating Youth Unemployment

The European Investment Bank – Institute and  the Crisis Observatory of Hellenic Foundation for European Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) will organize a conference on:“Fostering an Inclusive Economic Recovery in Greece:Promoting SME Innovation and Combating Youth Unemployment”.The event will take place on Tuesday 27 May at 17:30 – 20.30 at Impact Hub  (28 Karaiskaki Str.-very close to Monastiraki metro station).

 There will be simultaneous interpretation into English.

 The presentation will be followed by a cocktail reception.

Digital Innovation for Regional Growth
